Individual Accused of Allegedly Attempting to Entice Minor into Inappropriate Encounter

In a significant development, a 48-year-old man suspected of arranging a sexual encounter with a young girl from Temecula Valley has been released from custody on Friday. Alex Ronaldo Castro Luna, a resident of Long Beach, was arrested on Thursday for alleged illicit communication with a minor and possession of child pornography. However, he managed to secure his release by posting a $10,000 bond at the Murrieta jail.

Sergeant Joe Narciso of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department revealed that the suspect had initiated contact with the unidentified victim through social media back in April. Disturbingly, Luna pretended to be a 15-year-old male to attract the victim’s attention. Prior to intervention by the victim’s parent and law enforcement officials, the suspect was in the process of planning a meeting with the victim.

The investigation, which spanned over a period of four months, resulted in the seizure of online evidence that enabled the investigators to obtain an arrest warrant. Luna was apprehended without any resistance at his residence on Freeman Avenue.

Unfortunately, there is currently no available information regarding the suspect’s background.
