The strike has had a significant impact on various aspects of the industry. Late-night talk shows and many television productions have been put on indefinite hiatus as a result of the writers strike. Several high-profile movies, including Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator” sequel and “Deadpool 3,” have also been forced to halt production. Moreover, studios have made the decision to delay the release of some completed films until 2024.
Warner Bros. recently announced a reshuffling of its film schedule. Notably, they moved the release of “Dune 2” from November to March 2024 and shifted the release date of a “Lord of the Rings” movie to December 2024.
