More than a year ago, the National Archives received a Freedom of Information request that revealed the existence of over 5,100 emails, along with other electronic records and documents, related to President Joe Biden’s use of pseudonyms during his time as Vice President.
It is imperative that members of Congress and the public have access to all of this information, to the extent that it can be safely released.
Furthermore, it is crucial to investigate whether there are any additional secret names that Biden used.
The revelation of three alternate accounts and the fact that official government work was discussed on them came from Hunter Biden’s laptop. For instance, the first son obtained copies of his father’s official schedule through these accounts.
But what else is there? We do not know.
This is why House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer demanded that the Archives hand over these records to further the investigation into the alleged corruption within the Biden family.
Comer argued that Joe Biden had claimed there was a complete separation between his family’s foreign business dealings and his responsibilities as Vice President, but evidence suggests that his family had open access to influence-peddling.
With the exposure of the number of records by the Southeastern Legal Foundation’s lawsuit, Comer will undoubtedly intensify his efforts to obtain these records.
As commentator James Bovard sarcastically points out, it appears that the “absolute wall” only applied to the specific name “Joe Biden.”
Additionally, it has been revealed that during the Obama administration, Joe Biden pressured for the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, despite the administration’s claims that they were not seeking his removal. It is worth noting that Hunter Biden was receiving substantial payments from the Burisma company, which Shokin was investigating at the time.
Thus, it is evident that the public and House investigators have a compelling reason to access any other information that Joe Biden may have shared with Hunter, his brother Jim Biden, or any other family members involved in potential corruption.
