Fans went wild on social media on Friday as a highly anticipated Amazon Original show returned for its second season: ‘This is a 10/10 already!’
Invincible, a critically acclaimed adult animated superhero series, premiered on Prime in 2021. The first season was such a hit that Amazon renewed the show for two more series even before the finale aired.
The storyline follows the journey of Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old voiced by Steven Yeun, as he transforms into a superhero under the guidance of his father, Omni-Man, voiced by renowned character actor J. K. Simmons.
The series is based on the American Image Comics series of the same name, which was published from 2003 to 2018. A live-action film adaptation is also in development. The first season of Invincible holds an impressive 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The second season of Invincible premiered on Friday with the release of its first episode, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement as they flooded Twitter and Instagram with praises for the show.
