Grimes Takes Legal Action Against Elon Musk, Alleging Denial of Access to Our Son – National News

Grimes, the mother of three of Elon Musk’s children, has filed a lawsuit against the billionaire, claiming that he has denied her access to one of their two sons. The Canadian singer, Claire Boucher, known as Grimes, alleges that Musk has refused to let her see their child, according to court documents filed in the Superior Court of San Francisco. The purpose of the legal action is to establish the legal parents of a child when they are not married. Although the case is publicly accessible, the details of the filings have been sealed, and Musk has not yet responded to the petition.

Grimes is not seeking child support or custody rights in this lawsuit, which are commonly sought in such cases. The 35-year-old singer and the 52-year-old Tesla CEO were never married but have three children together from their on-again, off-again relationship that began in 2018. The dispute appears to revolve around their youngest child, Techno Mechanicus, whose existence was not publicly known until September of this year. Techno Mechanicus was born via surrogate in June 2022. The child’s nickname, Tau, is a reference to the Greek letter symbolizing two times the value of pi, a significant irrational number in mathematics. Tau is approximately equal to 6.28, coinciding with Musk’s birthday on June 28th.

In addition to Techno Mechanicus, Musk and Grimes also have two other children together: X Æ A-12, a three-year-old son referred to as X, and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, a one-year-old daughter referred to as Y. Musk has a total of 10 known living children, including six with his first wife, Justine Musk (one of whom is deceased), three with Grimes, and two with Shivon Zilis, a Canadian executive at Neuralink, one of Musk’s companies. Zilis gave birth to twins in 2021 after Musk offered to be her sperm donor, as detailed in Elon Musk’s biography by Walter Isaacson. This arrangement took place while Grimes was pregnant with their second child, and she was unaware of the agreement Musk had made with his employee.

Grimes recently made a now-deleted post on social media in which she requested to be unblocked by Zilis and asked Musk to let her see their child. She also expressed that the situation with Musk and Zilis’ twins had caused significant strain and turmoil within her family. However, in a subsequent post, Grimes apologized for her statement, stating that it was a reactionary response to the challenging situation she had been facing. She acknowledged that communication about the twins had not been handled well in the past but expressed her understanding and forgiveness for the situation. Grimes emphasized that her priority is to keep her children out of the public eye.

This story is ongoing, and further comment from Grimes has been sought.
