Gregg Berhalter in Talks with Club America About Coaching Vacancy
Gregg Berhalter, the head coach of the USA World Cup team, is reportedly in talks with Club America to fill their coaching vacancy in Liga MX, according to ESPN and TUDN.
While there have been mixed reports about Berhalter’s potential move to Club America, with some suggesting he is set to take the job and others stating he has been removed from consideration as he hopes to return to the USMNT, it remains a possibility.
Berhalter has also reportedly discussed managerial positions with Sparta Rotterdam and Swansea, both of which are located in English tier 2.
Club America forward Alejandro Zendejas, who recently received his first international cap after Berhalter’s contract with the US expired, expressed his excitement about the potential move, saying he would “love” to see Berhalter take the job.
