Gordon Ramsay’s knack for roasting is once again making waves as he hilariously critiques a TikTok chef’s attempt at deep-fried avocado.
On July 29, Ramsay shared a video of himself reacting to The Shaba Kitchen’s tutorial on frying an avocado filled with burrata.
“Stuffing burrata inside an avocado? The horror!” quipped Ramsay in the caption of his viral clip, which has garnered nearly 20 million views to date.
The video opens with Ramsay visibly shocked as the TikToker stuffs burrata into a halved, peeled, and pitted avocado. She proceeds to coat the avocado with all-purpose flour and dip it in an egg wash.
“Nooo! Fresh burrata should never be used as an avocado filling!” exclaimed Ramsay during the clip. “Right now, cheese producers in Italy are shedding tears!”
The TikTok chef then rolls the avocado in Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs, claiming that it will result in an exceptionally flavorful and crispy coating.
“Your nails, girl — you just coated them in breadcrumbs after spending $500 on them,” Ramsay jokingly remarked.
Ramsay couldn’t hide his astonishment as the TikToker lowered the avocado into the deep fryer.
“Burrata is meant to be enjoyed at room temperature, lightly seasoned, and drizzled with extra-virgin olive oil — definitely not deep-fried,” he exclaimed. “Inside, it’ll shrink and leak so much that you’ll need a doctor!”
When she finally retrieved the deep-fried avocado, Ramsay compared it to a “deformed Scotch egg.”
Ramsay then observed as she added tomato-basil sauce to a plate and garnished it with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
“Put it out of its misery, slice it, girl!” Ramsay exclaimed as she placed the avocado on top.
As she sliced into the avocado, causing the burrata to ooze out, Ramsay expressed his disgust.
“Congratulations,” he said. “We’re now banned from Italy.”

Ramsay’s reaction video has already garnered over 12,000 comments, with many sharing his outrage.
“The avocado certainly didn’t deserve that treatment,” wrote one commenter.
“That tomato sauce represents my Italian essence, and it bled out the moment the burrata touched the avocado,” added another.
However, the TikTok creator disclosed to Insider that she adores Ramsay and being playfully roasted by the renowned “MasterChef” star was a dream come true.
“I genuinely believe that if he actually tried it, he would’ve enjoyed it too,” she confidently stated.
