Luxury brand Ray-Ban has partnered with Meta, the company behind Instagram and Facebook, to incorporate AI technology into their frames. These futuristic glasses will include cameras, microphones, and speakers, allowing users to ask questions about what they see or receive help with translating signs and menus.
Tourists will also be able to share their experiences in real time with friends and family through live video streaming on social media or by instantly sending photos.
These smart glasses are among the first devices to utilize Meta’s new AI chatbots, which aim to imitate human conversations. The chatbots will have personalized personalities and specialize in various subjects, such as travel.
