From Beloved Tinseltown Darlings to Box Office Decliners: The Journey of Harry and Meghan

NEWIntroducing a new feature – you can now listen to Fox News articles!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, once considered high-flyers, are experiencing a series of setbacks. It seems like their once promising summer has turned into a disappointment. While I don’t personally wish them ill, the rumors circulating suggest that their marriage may be in trouble.

Previously adored by the media and Hollywood, even Sleepy Joe Biden has distanced himself from the controversial couple. Notable figures such as Taylor Swift are also keeping their distance from the couple who were once the talk of the town.

The Sussexes have also been dropped from important guest lists, including the prestigious LA party celebrating the British Academy Film Awards due to fears of a “PR disaster” if they were to attend.

If the reports are true that the couple’s request to fly back with the Bidens on Air Force One from Queen Elizabeth’s funeral was denied, it must have been a painful blow. This denial would have deprived Meghan of a priceless photo opportunity, as she aspires to make a mark in Democratic politics.

PRINCE HARRY, MEGHAN MARKLE’S AWARD NOD FOR EXPLOSIVE DOCUSERIES IS ‘WHITE NOISE’ TO ROYAL FAMILY: EXPERTS

The couple’s streaming endeavors have also faced difficulties. Three years ago, with much fanfare and lucrative deals with streaming giants, they left their royal titles behind to venture into Hollywood. However, their lack of talent, poor work ethic, and reliance on their connection to the royal family for public interest have been noted by studio executives.

United Talent Agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer summed up the situation in a mid-June interview, stating that Meghan Markle was not a talented audio artist or any kind of talent. Being famous doesn’t automatically make one great at something.

One after another, their projects have met with failure.

Last month, their Spotify deal was canceled, raising concerns about the future of their media empire and the impact of their choices and behavior on their brand’s sustainability. This termination marked yet another abrupt conclusion to a major project, leading some to question if this is the beginning of the end for the Sussexes.

Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together,” read the joint statement released by the couple and Spotify.

Could it be that they’ve exhausted all of their royal connections and secrets? Their strained relationship with Harry’s family, due to their appalling behavior and disrespect, has caused them to lose their main source of interest.

Spectacularly, Spotify executive Bill Thomas referred to them as “f—ing grifters” after they produced only 13 hours of content in two and a half years.

Their ambitious projects under Archewell have struggled to see the light of day. They had plans to tackle misinformation, but that project, among others, fell through. Additionally, a children’s show called “Pearl” was canceled, and several TV ideas were rejected.

Although the “Harry & Meghan” Netflix series initially had some success, their overall output has been limited. Netflix executives have expressed disappointment with the couple’s lack of productivity.

As they try to establish themselves outside of their royal past, they are finding it challenging. Media executives note that they produce very little compelling content to capture audience attention. Furthermore, their chances of creating new royal-related content seem slim, as the Royals have closed ranks and understandably distanced themselves after Harry violated their privacy in his ghostwritten autobiography, “Spare.”

As they move forward, the once bright shine of Harry and Meghan’s star power is gradually fading. Their projects have deepened the rift between Harry and his family, pushing them further away from the crown and reducing their appeal in show business.

Harry and Meghan, who were once treated with dignity and respect for the roles they left behind, have now become targets of jokes and parodies. It’s a pity, considering the hope and goodwill that were initially extended to them by the British people, who had high expectations for this modern romance within the longstanding royal institution.

The world was their oyster, but their narcissism, greed, victimhood, and entitlement have derailed what could have been a fairy tale existence. As the Bible says, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
