The 2024 college football season begins with the opening of the NCAA transfer portal cycle. The FBS transfer window began on Dec. 4 and will end on Jan. 2, 2024. While some players may have announced their transfer intentions earlier, they were unable to officially enter the portal until its opening.
With thousands of FBS players entering the portal each cycle, and the emergence of NIL as a determining factor in player acquisition, there is expected to be significant movement this offseason in what has become a pivotal period on the college football calendar.
As the process continues over the next month, stay tuned to CBS Sports and 247Sports for a live tracker, updated rankings, and much more on the transfer portal window. Check out the key links below and keep scrolling for live updates.
