The company, known as Truth Social, proactively informed the FBI about an individual making threats against prominent political figures. Tragically, this individual was later fatally shot by FBI agents during an attempted arrest. The threat was brought to the attention of Truth Social after an individual named Craig Deleeuw Robertson posted a threat to kill Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. Acting responsibly, the social media company promptly reported the threat to the FBI, ensuring the safety of the intended target.
The FBI was already familiar with Robertson, who was under investigation for making death threats against President Joe Biden, Alvin Bragg, and FBI agents.
