Police in Ohio are currently investigating a tragic incident that took place at a Halloween party. News outlets have reported that the shooting left two individuals dead and four others injured, some of whom were teenagers.
On Friday, October 27, officers were called to a residence in Mansfield after receiving multiple 911 calls. One caller reported, “I don’t know what’s going on, but there are two people in my room that are shot. They’re bleeding. They’re bleeding bad.” Another caller stated, “There’s been a whole bunch of gunshots, people are running everywhere.”
Upon arrival, the police discovered the lifeless bodies of a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old inside the home. Further investigation revealed that four other individuals, aged between 14 and 19, had also sustained gunshot wounds.
According to authorities, a Halloween party was taking place that night, attended by approximately 50 people, mostly teenagers.
Unfortunately, no witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect. The police have not yet released the identities of the victims and are actively investigating the incident. They encourage anyone with information to contact the Mansfield Police Department.
Mansfield is located approximately 70 miles northeast of Columbus.
