Exclusive: GOP Representative Demands Impeachment Inquiry into Energy Secretary Granholm for Alleged Lies Under Oath

FIRST ON FOX: Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney of New York is calling for an impeachment inquiry into Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. Tenney accused Granholm of giving false testimony to Congress about her family’s stock ownership.

During a House Science and Technology Committee hearing, Tenney made these demands and highlighted a series of violations that Granholm has allegedly committed since taking office in 2021.

“Secretary Granholm has repeatedly violated the Hatch Act,” Tenney stated. “She owned Proterra stock while President Biden promoted the company, and she personally promoted companies she had stock in.”

Tenney continued, “Furthermore, she lied under oath to Congress, claiming she did not own any individual stocks. The evidence for these charges is available in the articles I submitted.”
