Since its reveal in the June 2023 Direct, anticipation has been building for the release of Batman Arkham Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch. It’s the port we’ve all been waiting for, but does it live up to our expectations?
The wait is over – the trilogy is now available on the Nintendo hybrid console. As we work on our review, we’ve captured some footage of the most demanding title, Batman: Arkham Knight, for you to see the Caped Crusader in action.
The verdict? Well, that’s for you to decide. In the 17 minutes of footage above, you can witness The Bat navigating the streets of Gotham, engaging in fights, and (the part that had us most concerned) driving the Batmobile.
With frame rate drops in combat and driving scenes, this gameplay footage gives a clear idea of what to expect from Arkham Knight on Switch, flaws and all. Is this a dealbreaker for you? It’s all up to your judgment.
We’re currently working on our review of Batman: Arkham Trilogy. Keep an eye out for the ‘Nintendo Life signal’ in the coming days to read our full thoughts on what the collection has to offer (disclaimer: we won’t actually be shining the NL logo into the sky when our review is up, sorry).
What are your thoughts on this gameplay footage? Does it affect your decision? Let us know in the comments.
