The Eagles welcome back key players in preparation for Sunday Night Football against the Dolphins.
Lane Johnson and DeVonta Smith have returned to practice after initially being listed as non-participants earlier this week. Their presence on the field is a positive indication.
During the open portion of practice, Johnson lined up with the starting offensive line at his usual right tackle position, while Smith participated in individual drills after briefly stepping inside for a moment.
However, safety Reed Blankenship (ribs) observed the practice session, and nickel cornerback Bradley Roby (shoulder) was absent.
Unfortunately, the Eagles continue to struggle with injuries in their secondary throughout the season, and it persists into Week 7.
On a positive note, all four players who were limited in practice on Wednesday—Darius Slay (knee), Jalen Carter (ankle), Dallas Goedert (groin), and Milton Williams (ankle)—were able to fully practice on Thursday.
Additionally, the three players who were limited on Wednesday—Sydney Brown (hamstring), Marlon Tuipulotu (triceps), and Eli Ricks (knee)—also participated in practice.
This was the Eagles’ first practice following their loss to the Jets, and it provided the first opportunity to see Julio Jones wearing an Eagles jersey.
