Corianne Johnson didn’t notice her husband, Cody, collapsing in the delivery room as she received an epidural during labor.
However, when she heard a nurse shout “Man down!,” she realized something was wrong.
“Cody looked pale,” Johnson told Insider.
Although the epidural had taken effect, Johnson managed to capture a video of Cody sprawled on the floor.
After their daughter, Navy, was born, she shared the video on TikTok, where it has garnered 17 million views and 13 million likes.
Cody experienced fear and dizziness after seeing the needle, but the delivery went smoothly
“I was surprised when it went viral, but I don’t mind people having a laugh at my expense,” Cody told Insider.
Johnson was induced at 39 weeks and 6 centimeters dilated when she opted for an epidural. Cody saw the needle beforehand but averted his gaze during the injection.
Unfortunately, the sight of the needle still had an impact on Cody, causing dizziness.

Once a nurse confirmed Cody’s well-being without any head injuries, he received fruit juice to regain consciousness and was helped to a nearby couch.
