Notably, Musk has been critical of other AI companies, accusing them of neglecting the potential risks associated with AI development.
The primary goals of xAI, according to Musk, are to enhance our understanding of the universe and offer an alternative to prominent players like Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI in achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI). AGI refers to AI systems that can solve problems similarly to humans. In addition, Musk accused all AI companies of illegally training their models using Twitter data. Consequently, his firm aims to approach AI development in a more lawful manner.
Musk has been a vocal advocate for AI regulation and has actively sought meetings with White House officials to address this pressing issue. During his recent discussions with top government officials in China, he emphasized the importance of regulating AI. Musk’s dedication to ensuring the responsible and safe development of AI technology reflects his commitment to prioritize human safety.
