Dulux Puppies Create Havoc, Turning This Morning Set into Chaos

During a recent episode of This Morning, the hosts had an unexpected surprise when the famous Dulux dog and her adorable litter of puppies wreaked havoc on set. The six-year-old English Sheepdog, Olivia, and her litter of seven puppies joined the ITV morning show to discuss what it takes to be the mascot of the renowned paint company.

Holly Willoughby and Craig Doyle found themselves in quite the predicament as the mischievous puppies caused chaos, peeing and pooing all over the set. One even managed to escape and found its way onto the set of fellow ITV show, Loose Women.

As Willoughby engaged in conversation with Olivia’s owner, Ellen Wheeler, one of the puppies left a little unpleasant surprise on the floor. Willoughby brushed it off, saying, “You’re not the first puppy to do that on here.”

Doyle found himself both cleaning up the mess and cuddling with the adorable puppies. He remarked, “I have to laugh, the team in the gallery is saying, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll clean it up later.’ But it’s right under my nose, it’s literally all I can smell.”

In another amusing incident, one of the puppies ventured off the set and explored the Loose Women staging area, before eventually returning.

The puppies were born eight weeks ago to their mother, Olivia, who currently stars in the Dulux paint commercials. Wheeler explained that Dulux only allows the dogs to work for a maximum of four hours at a time. Additionally, a vet is always present to ensure the dogs’ well-being.

Wheeler also revealed that none of the puppies from this litter are expected to replace Olivia as the mascot. Olivia’s older pup, Vienna, is currently undergoing training to take over from her mother in a few years. Wheeler shared, “I initially thought I would keep this litter to raise the next Dulux dog, but we have Vienna, who is Olivia’s daughter from three years ago, and she’s already being trained as Olivia’s replacement. So the next Dulux dog will probably come from Vienna’s litter.”
