Pac-12 Championship Game Central
EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Ducks ascended to the No. 5 spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday evening for 2023. It marks the 11th occasion in team history that the Ducks have reached the top five of the CFP rankings, the first time since November 14, 2021.
The No. 5 Ducks (11-1, 8-1 Pac-12) are set to face off against No. 3 Washington (12-0, 9-0 Pac-12) in the 2023 Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (5 p.m. PT, ABC).
Oregon’s appearance in the CFP rankings has now totaled 39 times since its inception in 2014, when it proceeded to play in the inaugural CFP national championship game. This current ranking represents the Ducks’ 24th top-10 CFP ranking.
The Ducks sealed the regular season last Friday with a triumphant 31-7 win over Oregon State, who is now ranked No. 20 in the CFP rankings. Arizona’s No. 15 rank contributes to the Pac-12 having four top-25 teams.
