New York City Fashion Show Incident: Man Arrested for Stalking Celebrities
In a bizarre turn of events at the Ralph Lauren show during New York Fashion Week, a man named Chad Michael Busto barged into a dressing room and caused a scene, expressing his desire to marry actor Emma Watson.
Busto, 43, who had previously been arrested for stalking Drew Barrymore, pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. The incident disrupted the preparations for the fashion show and took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The unauthorized entry into the fashion show dressing room resulted in Busto’s outburst, where he loudly exclaimed his intention to marry Emma Watson and demanded to speak to her and take a photo with her.
Police reported that Busto became irate when asked to leave the premises, as he did not have permission to attend the event. The disruption caused by his actions led to charges being filed against him.
It is unclear if Emma Watson was present at the fashion show. Representatives for the actor did not provide any comments regarding the incident.
This is not the first time Busto’s disturbing behavior has been in the spotlight. In a previous incident, he rushed a stage where Drew Barrymore was present, causing concern for her safety. Busto was subsequently arrested after being spotted asking for directions to Barrymore’s home in the Hamptons.
Following his arrest, Busto failed to comply with his release conditions, leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest by a Southampton judge.
Busto, who has ties to shelters and church ministries in California and Washington, D.C., has a history of arrests for various offenses, including trespassing, disorderly conduct, and indecent exposure.
His eccentric behavior is evident in his handwritten lawsuit claiming ownership of the Hilton hotels chain, which was quickly dismissed. Busto has also filed lawsuits with unusual requests, such as challenging the prison sentences of all criminal defendants worldwide.
In another peculiar court filing, Busto submitted a document filled mostly with Pokémon cards. His baffling actions and statements continue to perplex authorities and the public.
