“Dancing with the Stars” Contestant Barry Williams Reveals the Secrets to His Lasting Marriage
Barry Williams, known for his role in “The Brady Bunch,” has been happily married to Tina Mahina for over six years. The couple has been together for a decade. When asked about the key to their successful marriage on the “Dancing with the Stars” red carpet, Williams replied, “I think we could just take a page right out of the Disney book, make her your princess.”
Williams also shared that his wife is a talented singer, actress, and Polynesian dancer. He even joked that she practices dance moves at home so they can book a cruise with a ballroom floor once he returns from the show.
In the recent episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” Williams and his professional dancer partner, Peta Murgatroyd, performed a jazz dance to “He’s a Tramp” from “Lady and the Tramp.” They earned a score of 18 points, impressing both the judges and the audience.
Throughout the season, Williams has received tremendous support from his “Brady Bunch” co-stars. Susan Olsen, who played the youngest Brady child, Cindy, attended the show to cheer him on. Williams confirmed that other cast members, including Christopher Knight, who portrayed his ‘Brady’ brother, will show their support in the upcoming weeks.
Williams expressed his gratitude for Olsen’s presence, stating, “We’ve been friends and continue to be friends all of our lives. I would have been disappointed if she hadn’t shown up. But it makes me feel really good to know that she was here, cheering us on. Very excited, very engaged.”
“The Brady Bunch,” which aired from 1969 to 1974, was a popular show that gained significant success. Williams and his co-stars formed a strong bond during their time on the series, and their friendship has endured over the years.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs live on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+. Stephanie Giang-Paunon is an Entertainment Writer for Fox News Digital.
