On Wednesday, Dunkin’ unveiled its latest seasonal drink in collaboration with Ice Spice, one of music’s biggest stars.
Ice Spice, the winner of the Best New Artist award at the 2023 Video Music Awards, joined forces with Dunkin’ to create the Ice Spice Munchkins drink, a refreshing twist on a pumpkin-flavored coffee for the fall season.
In a press release, Dunkin’ revealed that the beverage combines frozen coffee with their signature pumpkin-flavored Munchkins. The drink is topped with caramel drizzle and whipped cream, creating a delightful treat. It will be available for a limited time.
In an ad campaign with Ben Affleck, Ice Spice mentioned that the collaboration was a perfect fit. Her name includes “Ice,” and her fans are known as “munchkins,” just like Dunkin’s mini doughnuts.
“I’ve always been a Dunkin’ girl!” Ice Spice exclaimed in the press release. “Working with Dunkin’ and Ben Affleck on this project was a dream come true.”
“The drink has a fun twist and something special for my fans too. I can’t wait for everyone to give it a try,” she added.

Being a fan of both Ice Spice and Dunkin’, I couldn’t resist trying the drink as soon as I heard about it.
I ordered the Ice Spice Munchkins drink for $5.39 through the Dunkin’ app at my local NYC store. While the drink didn’t come with whipped cream as advertised, I believe it was due to my app order and not an issue with the drink itself.
Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the combination of frozen coffee and actual Munchkins gave the drink a slushy texture, which pleasantly surprised me.
To my delight, the taste matched its appearance. The drink was a perfect balance of flavors.

Like many fall-themed coffees, the Ice Spice Munchkins drink had a prominent pumpkin flavor, which can sometimes be overly sweet. However, its icy texture and cold temperature balanced out the sweetness, preventing it from being overwhelming. I also detected hints of caramel as the drink lingered on my palate, further enhancing its autumnal charm.
Due to its sweetness, I suggest opting for a smaller size. Nevertheless, any fan of pumpkin spice lattes will likely enjoy this beverage.
The Ice Spice Munchkins drink seems tailored for those who eagerly anticipate the arrival of fall but prefer a cold beverage in the lingering heat of 80-degree days. This aspect greatly appealed to me.
Similar to Ice Spice herself, Dunkin’s latest creation is a delightful blend of sweetness and spice, making it a must-try for coffee enthusiasts.
