Day-One PC Game Pass Debut: Microsoft Acquires 3rd Most-Wishlisted Game on Steam, Exciting Gamers!

Microsoft has acquired Manor Lords, an impressive PC city-builder game, as a day-one launch title for Game Pass.

Hooded Horse, the publisher, announced that Manor Lords will be released in early access form on April 26, 2024, for PC via Steam and GOG. It will also be available on PC Game Pass. The release for consoles and Xbox Game Pass is planned for a later date.

Manor Lords is currently the third most-wishlisted game on Steam, ranking just below Hades 2 and Hollow Knight: Silksong. It was also showcased during Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview broadcast in October 2023. Check out the new trailer below:

Developer Slavic Magic has created a unique historical city-building strategy game that combines intricate city-building mechanics with complex production chains. The game also includes a real-time combat layer that allows workers to transform into warriors. Set in a world inspired by 14th-century medieval life, players are tasked with constructing a new home for the inhabitants.

Here’s the official description:

“Exploit local resources, expand your settlement, and establish trade routes to meet the growing demands of your people. Surviving the harsh winter will pose a challenge, but once you have mastered the environment, be prepared to defend against threats such as bandits and rival lords vying for territory.”

Slavic Magic, a Polish development studio led by Greg Styczen, is responsible for the creation of Manor Lords.
