Angus Cloud‘s cause of death has been confirmed as an accidental overdose, according to the California coroner’s office.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has confirmed that the “Euphoria” star died of acute intoxication from a combination of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepine, as reported by CBS News.
Cloud, known for his role as the drug dealer Fezco on “Euphoria” for two seasons, passed away in July, just a week after his father’s burial.
Following his death, Cloud’s family released a statement revealing the actor’s intense struggle with the loss of his father.
“Today, we say goodbye to an incredible human being,” his family said. “As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus held a special place in our hearts. He had just buried his father and was deeply affected by this loss. The only solace we find is that Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.
“Angus was open about his mental health battle, and we hope that his passing serves as a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not suffer in silence,” his family added. “We want the world to remember him for his sense of humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We kindly request privacy during this time as we continue to process this devastating loss.”
