As a college student and pro-life activist, my daily life differs from most of my peers. While they scroll through social media after waking up, I wake up to find hateful and threatening comments that were directed towards me overnight. These past few days have been especially difficult as I have received over 20,000 messages following a viral video made by a pro-abortion comedian attacking my pro-life beliefs.
I have been subjected to disturbing comments, including suggestions that I should have been aborted and that I deserve to be killed or raped. It is ironic that those who claim to be “pro-woman” engage in such behavior. However, as disheartening as it is, I am not surprised.
The abortion lobby supports violence against unborn babies, considering them an inconvenience. Therefore, it is not surprising that they also support violence against individuals like myself who are inconvenient to their narrative. When a popular TikTok creator criticized me, her audience immediately targeted me with hate, attempting to find personal information about me and wishing harm upon me.
‘ABORTION IS OK’ HIGHWAY BILLBOARDS ANGER SURVIVORS: ‘ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING’
The video, which was posted a few weeks ago, has already amassed over 3 million views. Popular creators are joining in on bashing me, including transgender celebrity Dylan Mulvaney who commented, “Nailed it.”
Hey Dylan, I thought abortion supporters believed in “No uterus, no opinion.”
I have responded by posting videos highlighting the fact that the abortion lobby, despite claiming to support women, sends death threats to anyone who holds different opinions. However, pro-abortion individuals did not care and insisted that I deserved the threats.
Do I deserve online hatred simply because I believe that babies are precious? Do I deserve to be attacked in public bathrooms, as I have been in the past, just because I believe that women deserve better options than abortion? Do I deserve to be continuously stalked, spat on, and harassed because I believe that all humans should have equal rights?
It is clear that the moral compass of abortion supporters is broken.
Yet, despite the backlash I have faced, the reason I continue to fight is simple. While I may be a victim of pro-abortion intimidation and violence, the greatest victims are the unborn children who are killed every day. In the face of such inhumanity, I cannot remain silent, especially when it is celebrated.
I have been told countless times by abortion supporters that they will get pregnant and name the baby “Lydia” after me, just to abort it. How can I remain passive when such injustice is accepted?

Therefore, I will continue to respond with love and offer help to women considering abortion. As a spokesperson and intern for Students for Life of America (SFLA), I have been actively working to make my home state of North Carolina pro-life. This summer, I organized and led multiple protests and rallies in support of pro-life legislation. We achieved success in passing a 12-week abortion prevention act, which not only saves lives but also provides funding for pregnancy resource centers. And this is just the beginning.
In addition to my work outside of college, I am also involved in my school’s SFLA group, where we strive to make a pro-life impact on campus. During my freshman year, we successfully passed a resolution to improve access to pregnancy resources for students. It was the first pro-life resolution to ever pass at my university. Moreover, I have personally changed the minds of over 120 students on the issue of abortion, despite facing death threats that were slipped under my dorm room door.
Being part of the Pro-Life Generation means ignoring the extreme attempts of the abortion lobby to silence us and persevering until we achieve victory.
