Fans are raving about actress Michelle Williams’ captivating narration of Britney Spears’ latest memoir, which includes revelations about Spears’ past relationship with Justin Timberlake.
The audiobook contains an amusing anecdote about JT attempting a “blaccent” to connect with the Black community. Actress Michelle Williams, known for her role in “Dawson’s Creek,” narrates a story about a comical encounter between Spears’ then-boyfriend and fellow singer .

The two music icons, Spears (41) and Timberlake (42), started dating at the peak of their respective careers in 1999. Their highly publicized relationship took a turn for the worse in 2002 amid rumors of Spears’ infidelity.
In her memoir, while recounting Timberlake and Ginuwine’s encounter, Spears described NSYNC, the wildly successful boy band led by Timberlake, as “white boys” who were enamored with hip-hop.
“To me, that’s what set them apart from The Backstreet Boys,” she wrote. “NSYNC hung out with Black artists. Sometimes I felt like they were trying too hard to fit in. One day, while J and I were in New York, we ventured into unfamiliar parts of town.”
Williams continued with the narration, “As we were walking, a guy wearing a flashy medallion walked towards us, accompanied by two huge security guards. J got excited and exclaimed loudly, ‘Oh yeah, fo shizz fo shizz, Ginuwine! What’s up homie?’ After Ginuwine walked away, Felicia imitated J, saying ‘Oh yeah, fo shizz, fo shizz. Ginuwine!’ J wasn’t even embarrassed; he just shrugged and looked at her like, ‘F–k you.”
Spears’ account of the amusing incident quickly sparked a flurry of jokes on social media. One user wrote, “I was shocked when I found out who Justin Timberlake was putting on a ‘blaccent’ for.”
Another user shared a throwback video of Timberlake performing at Madison Square Garden in 2000. In the recording, Timberlake can be seen beatboxing with a white bedazzled bandana on his head. The user tweeted, “Justin Timberlake once did this on stage… he definitely did what Britney Spears said he did in front of Ginuwine.”
The video was later shared on The Neighborhood Talk via Instagram, where the jokes kept coming. One comment suggested, “Ginuwine definitely had some influence on JT’s moves lol.” Another person noted, “Please!!!! Despite the buzz surrounding Spears’ revelations, neither Timberlake nor Ginuwine have addressed her account of their first meeting.
