Video footage of the tragic incident at Cook’s Corner in Trabuco Canyon was released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The footage, captured by private security and law enforcement cameras, showcases the rampage of a retired Ventura police sergeant who opened fire at the roadhouse.

During the incident, three individuals lost their lives, and six others, including the gunman’s estranged wife, were injured. The shooter, identified as John Patrick Snowling, engaged in a lengthy gunfight with deputies before succumbing to his injuries.

Snowling entered the bar with two handguns and immediately targeted his wife, Marie, without uttering a word. After shooting her in the jaw, he started firing randomly at other patrons.

The deceased victims have been identified as Tonya Clark, Glen Sprowl Jr., and John Leehey.

After leaving the bar, Snowling retrieved an additional handgun and a 12-gauge shotgun from his truck. It was during this moment that he was confronted by deputies.
