Blackpink’s Jennie Kim rumoredly set to join Marvel Cinematic Universe

Jennie Kim of the all-female K-Pop supergroup BLACKPINK is rumored to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as part of the first-ever Asian superhero group called Team Agents of Atlas. Jennie, who is also starring in HBO’s The Idol, is said to incorporate her singing talents into her role as Seol Hee/Luna Snow, a K-pop singer and superhero who uses her ability to manipulate ice to protect people in the Pacific Rim and around the world. This rumor has been fueled by some die-hard fans who noticed that other Asian MCU stars have followed Jennie on Instagram. If the rumor turns out to be true, Jennie would join other famous K-Pop stars who have already lent their voices to Marvel, such as Luna from f(x) who played Seol Hee/Luna Snow in the 2020 video game Marvel Super War. Jennie is known for her positive mindset, talent, and humility, which have endeared her not only to her fans but also to her co-stars. Jennie will be touring North America in August for the group’s Born Pink World Tour.
