The suit also revealed that Nicola Peltz was insistent on not inviting certain politicians, including DeSantis, despite her father’s status as a major GOP donor. Text messages mentioned in the lawsuit show Peltz instructing the planners to keep DeSantis off the guest list. It seems Peltz got her wish, as DeSantis was nowhere to be seen at the wedding. The evening was attended by numerous celebrities, including Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, Eva Longoria, Serena and Venus Williams, Elizabeth Hurley, chef Gordon Ramsay, and the groom’s parents. Interestingly, it appears that Nelson Peltz may have also soured on DeSantis, as he is reportedly hesitant to financially support DeSantis’ 2024 presidential bid due to the governor’s far-right stance on abortion.
