Billionaire Gautam Singhania recently expressed his dissatisfaction with the Maserati MC20, a luxury car costing ₹3.69 crore. Singhania took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice his safety concerns about the Maserati MC20, stating that it has been the worst car he has ever driven. Singhania emphasized that he paid for a Maserati but received a subpar vehicle instead. He blamed the car’s poor performance on fundamental defects and criticized the Maserati company for not acknowledging these issues. Despite Singhania’s claims, Maserati responded by assuring customers that their vehicles undergo rigorous quality control measures and meet stringent safety standards. The Italian luxury car manufacturer stated that the specific technical concern raised by Singhania had been addressed and that the car was in perfect condition. The Maserati MC20, priced at ₹3.69 crore, was launched in March in India and is considered the spiritual successor to the 2004 MC12. It is Maserati’s first car with an in-house engine in over 20 years.
