‘Biden Dismisses Reporter’s “Dumb Question” About “The Big Guy” Label in FBI Informant File’

President Biden expressed frustration with a reporter who questioned why he was referred to as “the Big Guy” in an FBI document detailing a potential bribery scheme with a foreign national. During an event, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson asked Biden about the use of this term, to which the President responded with a dismissive remark before being escorted out by staff.

The controversy stems from a confidential human source who informed the FBI in a June 2020 interview that while Biden was serving as vice president, he received a $5 million payment from an executive at Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company where his son Hunter Biden was a board member. The allegations were documented in an FD-1023 form, which is used by the FBI to record unverified information from confidential sources.

It’s worth noting that the use of “the Big Guy” in the document is believed to be a reference to Biden himself. The Burisma executive allegedly told the confidential source that he did not directly pay the President. The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the FBI for the FD-1023 document, and after some back-and-forth, the bureau allowed committee members to view it in a secure setting on Capitol Hill.

The Biden family’s business dealings are currently under investigation by the committee. The White House has repeatedly denied any involvement or discussions between President Biden and his son regarding these matters.

Overall, the situation raises questions about the President’s potential involvement in questionable business activities and the transparency of the FBI’s handling of such information. It remains to be seen how this investigation will unfold and what impact it may have on the Biden administration.
