Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Reflections on Political Career: Unveiling His Potential as a Remarkable President

Arnold Schwarzenegger, despite achieving numerous accomplishments, expressed his desire to become president.

The Austrian-born Schwarzenegger, although legally ineligible for the office, discussed this apparent gap in his resume during an interview with Howard Stern. Schwarzenegger, who is 76 years old, revealed to the renowned radio host that he still possesses the energy required for the job.

When informed that he would win a hypothetical election, Schwarzenegger became enthused.

“You’re absolutely right, because many people approach me and say, ‘Oh, I wish you could be our president’ or something along those lines,” he told Stern. “So naturally, you contemplate it, but I focus on my other endeavors, such as writing books and striving to improve the lives of others.”

He continued, “I am passionate about enhancing the environment, fostering unity between Democrats and Republicans, combating pollution on a global scale, and safeguarding democracy by ensuring universal suffrage.”

Schwarzenegger has been vocal about his criticism of former President Donald Trump during his tenure. The famous “Terminator” star previously referred to Trump as “the worst president ever” and stated that he himself would have made an excellent president.

Schwarzenegger is currently promoting his new book, titled “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life.”

“I always see challenges in front of me that need to be conquered,” Schwarzenegger told the radio host. “As long as there are these obstacles, I maintain my enthusiasm, excitement, and determination to keep pushing forward.”

Schwarzenegger was governor of California from 2003 to 2011.

Schwarzenegger’s life is a testament to his achievements. In his 20s, he won six consecutive Mr. Olympia titles in bodybuilding. In his 30s and 40s, he built an iconic filmography as an action star. At the age of 56 in 2003, he was elected as the governor of California.

When asked if he found it frustrating to be ineligible for the presidency, he explained, “Not at all, because I believe that everything I’ve accomplished in my life… all the wealth I’ve amassed, it’s all thanks to America.”

“So why would I complain about the one thing I can’t do?” he continued.

However, not everyone shares Stern’s enthusiasm for President Schwarzenegger, likely including some of the former governor’s Republican supporters. Schwarzenegger had a straightforward message in 2021 for those who opposed COVID-19 vaccines and mask mandates: “Screw your freedom.”

The actor later apologized on Twitter, now X, “for saying those words” and is currently more focused on the environment. Schwarzenegger has recently made combating climate change his “crusade” and Follow Google News
