Authorities apprehended two suspected members of a notorious multi-state crime ring following a high-speed police pursuit in Warren County earlier this week.
On Friday at approximately 9:30 a.m., Springboro police received a tip regarding a vehicle with a stolen license plate near Hazel Woods Park. When an officer attempted to initiate a stop, the driver evaded and a chase ensued.

The pursuit continued until the suspects crashed their vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and both individuals, one from Florida and the other from Georgia, were apprehended and held at Warren County Jail.
According to authorities, the suspects used a stolen license plate to obstruct the identification of their vehicle by potential witnesses.
“We suspect that these two individuals are affiliated with the Felony Lane Gang, a notorious multi-state criminal organization,” said Springboro police officials.

Reportedly, the gang targets vehicles parked at parks, daycares, and fitness facilities where they search for unattended purses and wallets. Prior to the chase, law enforcement suspected that the suspects had intentions of targeting Hazel Woods and Clearcreek Park.
“This serves as a reminder to always lock your vehicles and avoid leaving any valuables unattended,” advised the police department.
