Are You Curious If Your Partner Would Cheat? These ‘Testers’ Have the Answer.

Caden Redmond, a talented college student and social media creator, found himself involved in a unique and unconventional job opportunity. Redmond, who is also a running back for Keiser University’s football team, joined a service called Loyalty-Test that allows people to hire “testers” to flirt with their partners online and assess their loyalty.

Redmond, using his charm and wit, engages in direct message conversations with women on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. His task is to determine whether these individuals respond to his romantic advances or remain faithful. If they show interest, Redmond takes screenshots as evidence and promptly reveals the truth to their partners.

Although it may seem like a game or a way for individuals to catch their significant others cheating, Redmond emphasizes that his intention is not to encourage infidelity. He believes that people should know if their partners are loyal, and he is dedicated to providing them with that information from someone who won’t take their girlfriends away.

Loyalty-Test, founded by Brandan Balasingham, has gained popularity since its launch in January. With around 30 testers on board, the service has been used by approximately 1,000 customers who are concerned about their partners’ loyalty. Balasingham, recognizing the growing insecurity in relationships due to the vast online dating market, introduced Loyalty-Test as a means of protection and reassurance.

To recruit testers and customers, Balasingham turned to job sites like Indeed, Handshake, and Backstage. He also collaborated with microinfluencers to promote the service. Testers have the freedom to set their own prices, while Balasingham retains a 10% transaction fee. Confidentiality is crucial, and testers are expected to respect the privacy of clients.

Although the majority of users are women, there is also a considerable number of male customers. Testers are diverse, catering to various partner preferences. They undergo a simple approval process, requiring only an active Instagram account and the willingness to adhere to Loyalty-Test’s terms.

One tester, a 23-year-old woman from Jersey City, stumbled upon Loyalty-Test while searching for methods to test her own boyfriend’s fidelity. Although she didn’t go through with hiring a tester herself, she eventually became one after ending her relationship. Drawing from her personal experience of being cheated on, she desired to help others uncover their partners’ infidelity.

Using a fake Instagram account (“finsta”), she engaged in conversations with her clients’ boyfriends, assessing their responses. She discovered that approximately half of the men showed interest. The tester charged between $50 and $60 per test, making a few hundred dollars per week on average, with a record of close to $500 in a single week.

While some clients requested explicit conversations or in-person tests, the tester declined due to safety concerns. Nonetheless, she achieved significant success in exposing cheating partners and providing closure for her clients. Although she acknowledges occasional guilt resulting from deception, she believes it is justified by the positive impact she is making in others’ lives.

Loyalty-Test challenges the conventional dynamics of relationships and reflects the complexities and uncertainties of modern dating. As trust becomes increasingly difficult to establish and maintain, services like Loyalty-Test provide a sense of security and peace of mind for those grappling with doubts about their partners’ loyalty.
