The arrested individual, Marty Decole “Cole” Wagner, 32, held the position of chair for the Alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama and was also an employee in government relations at the Alabama Department of Education. However, he has been terminated from his position following the arrest.
In response to the allegations, the state education department expressed their shock and confirmed Wagner’s immediate termination. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time, according to the APR.
