Alex Galchenyuk involved in hit and run arrest, allegedly made threats towards police

In a shocking turn of events, Alex Galchenyuk reportedly threatened to have police officers killed during his arrest for hit and run on July 9. The Arizona Coyotes terminated his contract just days after signing him to the team.

According to the police report, Galchenyuk made alarming statements such as, “I’m gunna chop you and your daughter,” and “One phone call and you’re all dead, your whole family, your whole bloodline is dead.”

Furthermore, the 11-year NHL veteran displayed racist behavior, uttering a racial slur multiple times while referring to an officer in training. Despite claiming that he was joking about the threats, this behavior is unacceptable.

An eyewitness stated that Galchenyuk was involved in a hit and run incident where a white BMW hit a curb and sign. The player then got out of the car and laid on the ground.
