The Michigan Department of Transportation has released a traffic advisory for the I-275, I-96/M-14, and I-94 interchanges.
Starting on Monday, December 4th, the southbound I-275 from 5 Mile Road to Eureka Road will operate with only one open lane each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is due to crews removing barrier walls and replacing them with temporary barrels until pavement markings are added. This lane closure is expected to last until mid-December and could cause delays for airport traffic.
MDOT has noted that the barrier work will start at the south end and work back towards 5 Mile Road before concluding for the season by the end of the year.
