After filming the Apple series “The Crowded Room”, Tom Holland reveals his plans to take a “year off”.

Tom Holland is taking a break from acting for a year after completing his latest project, “The Crowded Room,” which he starred in and executive produced for Apple+. The psychological drama had a profound effect on Holland, who admitted that it “broke” him during an interview with Extra. Playing a character based on the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a defense in court, Holland said he explored emotions he had never experienced before, and the added pressure of producing the show made it a challenging time. Holland plans to take a well-deserved break and recharge after disappearing to Mexico for a week following the project’s completion. The 27-year-old British star attributed the difficult role to his decision to take a year off. Holland, who previously spoke about his own mental health, said viewers could have more respect and sympathy for people experiencing similar issues. The 10-episode series premieres on Friday.
