A 2-year-old was discovered snuggled up in the woods in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula after going missing.
On Wednesday evening in Faithorn, Michigan, the little girl wandered away from her home with her two family dogs.
The toddler was later found asleep in the woods, using the smaller dog as a pillow, according to state police.

MSP troopers from the Iron Mountain post were called to the child’s home in Menominee County at 8 p.m. on Sept. 20 after reports that she had wandered off.
While local police and civilians in Michigan and neighboring Wisconsin searched in the woods, troopers utilized drones and police dogs to search for the toddler, as reported by the AP.
“It was challenging for the dogs to search for her because we have farm animals over here,” said Brooke Chase, the girl’s mother, in an interview with WJMN.
“But I am still in shock that she disappeared in a split second.”
An ATV driver finally found the 2-year-old about three miles from her home around midnight.
