In a surprising turn of events, Adam Copeland, also known as Edge in the WWE, made a shocking appearance at All Elite Wrestling’s WrestleDream event on Sunday night.
The highly anticipated match between Christian Cage and Darby Allin for the AEW TNT Championship ended with Cage emerging as the victor after a brutal showdown that left Allin battered and injured.
However, as Cage and his group continued to assault Allin after the match, the crowd at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle erupted when Copeland’s entrance music blared through the speakers. Copeland entered the ring, confronting Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne, unleashing a series of chair shots and spears on each of them.

After restoring order, Copeland extended a handshake to Sting and Allin, marking a monumental moment to conclude the pay-per-view event.
Copeland’s departure from WWE in September, following the expiration of his contract, hinted at the possibility of joining AEW. Having a long history with Cage, as they were once a renowned tag team in WWE, Copeland’s appearance further solidified their connection and set the stage for potential future collaborations in AEW.

Copeland took to X to explain his decision to switch companies, expressing his excitement for the new challenges and fresh faces in AEW. He thanked WWE for the incredible 25 years he spent there and emphasized his desire to explore new opportunities.
