‘Aaron Judge of the Yankees Hits a Spectacular 464-Foot Home Run in Victory against the Marlins: A Home Run like No Other’

Aaron Judge left a lasting impact in the New York Yankees’ lineup during their game against the Miami Marlins on Friday night. Judge slammed his 22nd home run of the season, contributing to the Yankees’ 9-4 victory.

The reigning AL MVP crushed a massive 464-foot home run in the third inning, setting a new season record at loanDepot Park in Miami. Judge’s home run followed a three-run shot by shortstop Anthony Volpe in the second inning, giving the Yankees a 4-2 lead.

Judge expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating, “Any time we can add more runs, they feel great. I feel the past couple of games we’ve had guys on base and just haven’t gotten the big hit. Today we had a couple of clutch hits.”

Since his return to the lineup on July 28th, Judge has maintained a batting average of .256, hitting three home runs and driving in five runs, according to The Associated Press.

Volpe described Judge’s home run as a remarkable display of power, saying, “That’s a different type of home run, that’s for sure. It’s so easy when it just jumps off the bat, like everyone knows. It’s fun to watch.”

The Yankees currently have a record of 60-56 and are trailing by four games for the final Wild Card spot in the American League. Yankees manager Aaron Boone commended the team’s performance and their ability to hit a strong starting pitcher, saying, “A lot of good things happened out there. We’re starting to swing the bats off a really good starting pitcher. We were able to hit him hard. That’s a guy who’s in the middle of a really good season. That was good to see.”

Unfortunately, Judge was sidelined in early June due to a toe injury sustained in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Yankees struggled in his absence, going 18-24.
