In a live discussion on Thursday, June 22, at 1 p.m. Eastern, Cooper, the author of the newly released book “Better Living Through Birding,” and Tan, author of the upcoming book “The Backyard Bird Chronicles,” will explore the transformative power of birding and the unique challenges and rewards they face as people of color in a predominantly white-dominated hobby.
