Capcom is known for its crossovers with other video games, and they’re now delving into anime collaborations. The company has released a special animated short for Spy x Family vs. Street Fighter 6 ahead of an upcoming collaborative event in the fighting game.
The minute-long animation, produced by Wit Studio, which is also the studio behind the Spy x Family anime, is vibrant and exciting to watch. Yor Forger faces off against Chun-Li on the Nayshall stage from SF6 in a sequence reminiscent of the fighting game.
Starting January 9, 2024, collaboration items inspired by Spy x Family will be available in SF6 for a limited time to coincide with the release of the Spy x Family Code: White film. The list of items to be added has not been revealed, but fans can expect them to be similar to those featured in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover.
Chun-Li wearing Yor’s dress as an actual costume could be a cool addition, but given that Outfit 3 was just released into the game, it seems doubtful. Additionally, SF6 previously featured a crossover with Baki the Grappler, so there’s potential for exciting items to be added to the game’s Battle Hub.
