The current version of Cyberpunk 2077 only allows players to use metro stations as fast travel points without the true experience of boarding a train and enjoying the view of Night City. However, with update 2.1, 19 stations will be transformed into fully operational spaces where players can board the train and witness the city’s vibrant life. CDPR is keeping details about the Metro experience under wraps, alluding to the possibility of surprises yet to be revealed.
But that’s not all. Update 2.1 is bursting with other exciting changes. Players can now listen to the radio while on foot or on the metro, execute wheelies on motorbikes, and use throwing knives as weapons while driving. Additionally, boss fights, such as Adam Smasher, have been revised. Moreover, it introduces new hangouts with romantic partners, replayable car races, and dynamic car chases with gangs if provoked.
CD Projekt Red’s release of major update 2.0 was a game-changer, introducing significant revisions to the game’s progression systems and adding a proper police response system, vehicle combat, and more.
