A UFC Fight Night at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas promises to be one of the best in recent memory, with a stacked card for a strong finish to the year.
The highly anticipated main event features leading lightweights- Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan. Dariush, who is nearing the 10th anniversary of his UFC debut, seeks to rebound from his recent loss to Charles Oliveira in June. He had won eight consecutive bouts before the defeat and now enters this fight ranked fourth in the division. Tsarukyan, currently ranked No. 8, stands to gain the most from a potential win.
The co-main event also promises an intense clash, with No. 12 Jalin Turner defending his position against No. 13 Bobby Green. Green comes into the bout after winning his last two fights by submitting Tony Ferguson and knocking out Grant Dawson. Jalin Turner, on the other hand, is facing pressure after back-to-back split decision losses to Mateusz Gamrot and Dan Hooker.
Former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo will also be on the card, scheduled to fight veteran Rob Font at bantamweight. Sean Brady will face Kelvin Gastelum at welterweight, adding another element of intrigue.
Former women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate will headline the prelims alongside Julia Avila, as they battle at 135 pounds. Tate, after a long hiatus and a previous return at 125, is now poised to make a breakthrough in her comeback at bantamweight.
