For many fantasy football managers, panic is their natural state. It’s their default setting and indicates that they care deeply about their teams.
We recently asked who they’re fretting about in Week 13, and we received a flood of responses about big-name players.
Let’s start with a somewhat surprising submission…
Panic level: Moderate, but probably not for the reason you had in mind. 🤔
It caught us off guard because Tua Tagovailoa has been one of the year’s best fantasy decisions and has a favorable schedule ahead. Despite a quiet week, Tua’s health concerns have not affected his performance. However, the team’s upcoming matchups raise valid points for pre-panic.
On the other hand, the Puka Nacua panic seems exaggerated and unwarranted.
Panic level: Elevated if not yet dire 🐏 😬
While Nacua’s targets have decreased, he’s still a gifted rookie making an impact. Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp’s recent performances can cause concern due to injuries and low yardage. However, with limited alternatives, benching Kupp may not be an option.
Panic level: Meh. It’s lower than the Tony Pollard and Derrick Henry panic from three weeks ago. We’ve seen worse. 🫤
Personal concerns and future matchups could induce some worry about Travis Etienne. However, his volume and upcoming home matchup are promising. It’s recommended to remain alert for any changes regarding his goal-to-go usage.
And lastly, Lamar Jackson’s consistent performance this season may not warrant any panic despite public expectations.
