Florida State’s quarterback, Jordan Travis, took to Instagram to update fans on his condition after sustaining a leg injury that ended his participation in the No. 4 Seminoles’ 58-13 victory over North Alabama. “Just wanted to let you know I’m doing good, feeling good,” Travis stated in the video. He added, “Just going to follow God’s plan. God has a journey for me, and I’m going to trust him every step of the way.”

Following the injury, Travis was carted off the field and taken to the hospital, where he remained as of Sunday morning. The quarterback sustained the injury when he came down awkwardly near midfield after picking up a first down on a run, appearing to injure his left ankle as he was tackled by a North Alabama defender.

Replaced by Tate Rodemaker Jr., the Seminoles were trailing 13-0 at the time of Travis’ exit. Prior to the injury, Travis had completed 64.1% of his passes on the season for 2,734 yards, 20 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He had also rushed for seven touchdowns before exiting the game.

With a spot already secured in the ACC Championship Game, the undefeated Seminoles are eyeing their first College Football Playoff berth since 2014 after ranking No. 4 in each of the first three editions of College Football Playoff Rankings. They have a remaining regular-season game at rival Florida before facing Louisville in the conference title game on Dec. 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
