When Mauricio made his debut on the hit show Dancing With the Stars, Kyle showed up in the ballroom to show her support for him and his dancing partner, Emma Slater, as they wowed the audience with their lively jive.
Not content with just being a supportive spouse, Kyle went the extra mile by sharing instructions on how to vote for Mauricio on her Instagram Story.
Following the premiere of DWTS, Mauricio gave an update on the state of their marriage.
During an episode of The Agency’s Red Mic podcast on September 28th, he revealed, “We were going through some personal challenges, and dealing with it quietly and internally. We’re not separated or divorced at this point, and we’re still working on our marriage.”
Despite the recent challenges, the 53-year-old expressed gratitude for the 26 years of marriage without any major issues. He acknowledged, “It’s been an amazing 26 years, but the last year has been particularly tough. Kyle and I consider ourselves blessed, as we went through 26 years without any major problems, even though many marriages have their rough patches.”
In response to rumors about their split being a publicity stunt, Mauricio vehemently denied any such allegations. “I would never jeopardize my life just for some media attention. I’m not that cunning or conniving,” he declared.
