The San Francisco 49ers had a 34-3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and emerged unscathed. Coach Kyle Shanahan provided a health update on the team and discussed players who missed Sunday’s game.
Right tackle Colton McKivitz suffered an ankle injury and will be day to day. He is also dealing with some knee soreness. Offensive lineman Aaron Banks is still recovering from turf toe. However, the news was better for Trent Williams, who played his first game in Week 10 after missing two contests with an ankle injury. Shanahan reported that Arik Armstead, who had been leg-whipped, is experiencing some soreness but has no significant injury.
Shanahan expressed his intentions to get Jon Feliciano more playing time and praised the performance of both offensive guards in Jacksonville. On the defensive side, linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles is day to day, while Drake Jackson was placed on the injured reserve list.
It was mentioned that Drake had knee tendonitis but may still have a chance to return this year. Also, Download and follow the 49ers Talk Podcast.
