- Swift urged concertgoers to refrain from throwing items on stage.
- “It really freaks me out when things are thrown on the stage,” she stated.
Taylor Swift paused her recent Eras Tour concert to address fans and request that they avoid throwing objects on stage.
A video from Sunday’s show at Estadio Mâs Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina was shared on social media, showing an unidentified object being hurled onto the stage.
This prompted Swift to take a moment to speak to her fans, as seen in a video posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
“It really alarms me when things are thrown onto the stage,” the singer conveyed. “Because if it’s on the stage, a dancer could trip on it.”
She continued, “I appreciate the gifts, but could you please avoid throwing them on the stage? I love you so much.”
Swift had three performances in Buenos Aires and made headlines with her Saturday night show, attended by NFL star Travis Kelce, who has been romantically linked to the singer.
While wrapping up her set with the hit song “Karma,” Swift modified the lyrics in tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
She sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” altering the original lyrics: “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.”
A video shared on TikTok captures Kelce’s response to the subtle tribute.
Standing next to the singer’s father, Kelce appears surprised by the lyric change and covers his face with his hands as the crowd cheers.
Another video shared on X shows Swift approaching Kelce at the concert’s conclusion, followed by a kiss between the two.
